Juan José Barboza-Gubo

BIOGRAPHY

(b. 1976, Lima, Peru) Barboza-Gubo achieved a bachelor of Fine Arts from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), after which he achieved a Master of Fine Arts from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt), then becoming a teacher at the latter. Trained in both painting and sculpture, he uses this knowledge to create intricate works with blurred acrylic and polyurethane that defy the perception of the human eye.
